73′s TM2A Contest Team

So during the winter I got a Garmin GPS LVC 18 and turned the 144mhz loging computer into a stratum 0 NTP server.

Now we will always start on time !

Rob W7GH made a great kit available throuhg his company Idiom Press. I ordered the  kit online from Rob. Delivery took some time but this is what was anounced at the time of ordering.

The kit is of high quality (slightly under elecraft kits). Only one resistor was missing, no big deal ! If you take it seriouesly, with part-inventory it will take no more that 3 hours to build the kit. Once finished the voice keyer worked right away and the finished product looks great !

Assembly and user guides are provided with the kit.

Rob delivered the wrong cable to my transceiver (elecraft K2), but promptly shipped the right cable at no additional cost.

I’m very satisfied with my purchase and the final price my banked charged was 117€ including S&H to France

The FA-SDR is working and we plan to test it over the weekend during the IARU UHF 2010 contest !

We will be QRV on the following bands:

• IC910H + 4CX250 and 4×21 F9FT on 432 MHz
• K2 +Transverter DB6NT + 60W + ATF5414 and 2m dish with a OE9PMJ illumination on 1296 MHz. The FA-SDR will be used for the reception together with the K2.
• Transverter DB6NT on 10 GHz / 10W DL2AM/ LNA DB6NT and 120cm dish.

We will be looking for you on ON4KST and also be on standby on 144.390 most of the time for the microwave bands. Looking forward to lots of QSO’s !
